Students who wish to graduate (receive a diploma) must complete step 1.

Students who wish to graduate and participate in a graduation ceremony must complete steps 1–5.

  1. Submit an Intent to Graduate (view due dates)
    The dates below are for the April 2024 cohort. August 2024 cohort dates will be added after the April ceremony.
  2. Register to Participate in your ceremony (beginning February 26, 2024 for the April cohort)
  3. Order and download tickets (February 26 - March 24, 2024 for the April cohort)
  4. Record your ceremony name pronunciation (beginning February 26, 2024 for the April cohort)
  5. Purchase Regalia (online in January, allow 4 weeks for delivery)

When you submit an Intent to Graduate you are asking the Registrar’s Office to validate your plan to complete your academic requirements and receive a diploma. The review process takes 5-7 business days after which you will receive an email from the Registrar’s Office confirming your plan or alerting you to issues.

If your Intent to Graduate is confirmed, 8 weeks before your ceremony you will receive an automated email inviting you to Register to Participate; if you select no when you register your participation, automated reminders will end.

If you select yes when you register your participation you will receive a second email with a link to order and download your electronic guest tickets. Note: it can take as long as fifteen minutes for your tickets to become available once you have registered.

Graduate Student Speaker

Applications for Graduate Student Speaker at the April 2024 Graduate Hooding Ceremony are now being accepted. The deadline for applications with an outline is February 25, 2024.

Diplomas 

Diplomas will be mailed to the address you provided on your Intent to Graduate form according to the schedule on the Registrar's Graduation page. You may review and make changes to your diploma address or your diploma name up until the day after your ceremony by using the form below. Note: if you change your legal name with the Registrar's Office, it will not automatically update your diploma name.

Review and Change Diploma Information

If you need to change your graduation term, you must submit a new Intent to Graduate form because your plan to graduate will have changed.
