Peer Tutoring

The WARC's Peer Tutoring program is an off-site service designed to provide undergraduate student peer-to-peer content tutoring in a fixed number of high-demand courses each semester.

International Student Support

The WARC welcomes undergraduate and graduate students who wish to improve their English writing and presentation skills in one-on-one consultations.

Academic Counseling

All Emerson students can make appointments with the WARC Directors to review their academic histories and determine what support may help them achieve and maintain academic success.

Study Strategies for Academic Success

The WARC provides support to improve your time management, writing, reading, and test preparation skills.

Resources for Faculty

The Writing Center frequently works with faculty to develop and implement writing in the disciplines, content, and workshops.

The Emerson ELF

The WARC provides a variety of self-access resources for students and faculty.  These resources are hosted on our Canvas support site, the Emerson English Language Forum (ELF), which is available for open-enrollment to Emerson community members.  Many valuable resources are hosted on the ELF for students and faculty to self-access, including the “Working with Research and Avoiding Plagiarism Quiz,” international student success materials, and general writing, study skills, and academic enhancement tools.
