Miranda Popkey is the author of the novel Topics of Conversation, which was published in January, 2020, by Knopf. She has written essays and reviews for a number of publications including The New York Times Book Review, Harper's Magazine, The New Republic, The Literary Review, New York Magazine's The Cut, The New Yorker's Page-Turner blog, and The Paris Review Daily. Her fiction has also appeared in Virginia Quarterly Review.
