Julia Cooper teaches in the first-year writing program at Emerson and serves as the managing editor for Bluedot Living Magazine. Outside of these roles, Julia is constantly engaging in the craft of the non-fiction essay as a tool of scholarly cultural exploration.
As a lifelong student and scholar of the liberal arts, Julia Cooper is passionate about imbuing her enthusiasm for learning in all of her endeavors. In her undergraduate career at Colgate University, Julia studied Spanish language and literature as well as linguistics, spending time in Galicia and Madrid to complete research on her undergraduate capstone project. Julia recently completed her MA in Writing & Publishing at Emerson College and has joined the college's affiliated faculty in WLP.
