Indira Ganesan is the author of three novels.  Her latest is As Sweet As Honey (Alfred A. Knopf, February 2013).

A recipient of a Mary Ingraham Bunting Fellowship of Radcliffe College, she has held fellowships from The Fine Arts Work Center, The Paden Institute for Writers of Color, and The MacDowell Colony.  Her essays have appeared in Newsday, Antaeus, and Glamour.  Her other novels are The Journey (Alfred A. Knopf; Beacon Press) and Inheritance (Alfred A. Knopf; Beacon Press), and have been published in UK editions, with translations in French, German, Greek, and Japanese.
