Ellen Howards is a magazine writer and editor. She writes primarily about the fine arts and design. She is the former Editor in Chief of Art New England. Before that, she was Associate Editor at artsMEDIA Magazine.
She has written features, profiles, reviews and general assignment news for local and national newspapers and magazines including Ornament magazine, American Craft, and the Boston Herald. Earlier, she worked at John Cabot Universaity in Rome, Italy, in the Admissions office; and at Boston University, Study Abroad Office.
