Bob recently completed his 10th season as the play-by-play broadcaster for the NFL's New England Patriots on the 98.5 The Sports Hub Patriots Radio Network. Honored as the 2021 Massachusetts Sportscaster of the Year by the National Sports Media Association, Socci is heard on a 40-station network featuring affiliates in seven states. He’s called six AFC Championship games and four Super Bowls.

In addition to his radio role during the regular season, Bob calls preseason games on the Patriots Television Network, hosts Patriots This Week on Boston’s TV 38 and is a regular contributor to Patriots All-Access on WBZ-TV (CBS Boston).

Socci writes regularly for 98.5 The Sports Hub and maintains his own blog. Following Super Bowl LI, he authored the introduction to the Patriots’ commemorative book, The Greatest Ever: The 2017 World Championship Collectible.

Immediately prior to joining the Patriots broadcast team, Socci completed his 16th season as the voice of Navy football while also calling college basketball (CBS Sports Network) and Triple-A baseball (Pawtucket Red Sox). His varied professional experience includes work in college sports information, baseball media relations, newspaper/magazine writing and publication design.

As a native of Auburn, NY and graduate of the University of Dayton, Bob resides in Milton, MA with his wife, Dr. Monique Tello, and their two children.
