Equipment Distribution Center
The Equipment Distribution Center houses all Visual & Media Arts and Journalism equipment. Students may check out equipment based on their classes. The EDC is located at 19 Avery Street, near the Media Arts Gallery at Emerson Contemporary.
Emerging Media Lab
The Emerging Media Lab hosts curriculum in multiple areas of new media, including but not limited to: 3D modeling & animation, analytical drawing, and artistic anatomy & 2D animation. The Emerging Media Lab is located on the 3rd floor of the Ansin Building at 180 Tremont Street.
Design & Integration
The department of Design & Integration is a crucial area for the functionality and upkeep of facilities. Each project varies in size and budget to update and/ or create new areas.
Inventory
MTP Inventory's role is to receive, maintain and process the inventory database for all equipment purchased for Journalism, VMA, EDC, Paramount Sound Stage and other MTP managed facilities.The MTP Inventory is located on the 2nd floor of the Walker Building, 120 Boylston Street.
