HIVE (Hub for Inclusive Visionary Engagement) is an area within the Division of Community, Culture, & Belonging.
We collaborate with students, staff, faculty, and community members to reimagine and shift resources to support community-building, college-access, and self-expression.
Our programs are rooted in creativity and exploring visionary futures in arts, communication, and higher education.

College Pathway Programs
EmersonWRITES and EmersonTHEATER are free for students in grades 8-12 in Boston and nearby towns focused on creative writing and playmaking theater, with support from Enrollment Management and in partnership with Writing, Literature, and Publishing, and Performing Arts. Participants who are accepted into Emerson as undergraduate students receive scholarships.
Employee Resource Networks (ERNs)
In partnership with the Division of Community, Culture, & Belonging and Human Resources, we support the College’s ERNs: groups of employees who gather together based on shared experiences, interests, or affinity. ERNs enhance support for employees through community-building, professional development, and by engaging in shared dialogue with the College. Current ERNs: Fusion, eQual, EmCares. If you are an Emerson employee interested in launching a new ERN, please email ccb@emerson.edu.
