About the Emerson College UnCommon Stage

The Emerson College UnCommon Stage is a seasonal outdoor performance space on Boston Common. Launched in partnership with Trillium Brewing Co. and the City of Boston, the UnCommon Stage is a place for the community to gather to listen to free performances and enjoy food and drink from local establishments.

As curator of uncommon performances by local musicians, the College is helping to animate the corner of Boston Common that borders our campus. The space is open Wednesday–Sunday from May to November.

The Emerson College UnCommon Stage is a lively addition that will enhance even further this corner of the Common … It will bring people together to celebrate music and the arts; it will promote diversity, creativity, and expression; and it would not have been possible without the commitment, dedication, and vision of many of the officials from the City of Boston, from Trillium, and of course, from Emerson.
