- New Programs: Innovative new majors and programs recently added to the College’s range of offerings include a BFA in Comedic Arts (the first of its kind in the nation), a BS in Business of Creative Enterprises, and a BA in Sports Communication; an MFA in Writing for Film and Television, an MFA in Popular Fiction Writing and Publishing, an MA in Media Design, and a version of the MS in Communication Disorders targeted specifically toward speech language pathology assistants; and new interdisciplinary minors in Digital Media and Culture and African American and Africana Studies.
- Center for Innovation in Teaching and Learning: Founded to promote innovative teaching for enhanced student learning, CITL provides faculty with professional development opportunities, academic support programming, and mechanisms for approaching accountability and improvements through student feedback.
