Manuel Basanese

Manuel (Manny) Basanese has been a working television writer/producer and member of the WGA since 1987. His credits include Wizards of Waverly Place, The Wayans Bros., Family Matters, The Tracey Ullman Show, among many others. Manny served as Co-Executive Producer on Warner Brothers' The Steve Harvey Show and has written twenty episodes for the series. In addition to his series and staff work, Manny has sold pilots to "E!" Channel, Sony Television, The Disney Channel and Paramount. Prior to coming to Emerson, Manny taught a variety of TV writing classes at UCLA Extension and has served three times as Head of the school's Sitcom Arts Camp.
