Ed Lee is a comedy writer who has written for TV sitcoms, animation shows, and awards shows. His recent short film Becoming Eddie has screened at many festivals, including Bentonville Film Festival, Dances with Films, and Los Angeles Asian American Film Festival. Ed is currently developing Becoming Eddie into a streaming series with Sony Pictures Television.

Prior to joining the faculty at Emerson, Ed wrote for television shows such as The Drew Carey ShowClass of 3000, G.I. Joe: Renegades, and Are You There, Chelsea? Ed also taught at the American Film Institute Conservatory, USC School of Cinematic Arts, UCLA Extension. In addition to writing for television, Ed has wrote and performed sketch, improv, and storytelling at iO West, Nerdmelt Theater, Westside Comedy Theater, and Upright Citizens Brigade Theater LA.
