As Associate Director of Internationalization Initiatives, Corey Blackmar is responsible for the management, administration, and assessment of Emerson’s Global Pathway Programs. He also oversees the college’s exchange student program and is involved in the strategic visioning and leadership for international activities between Emerson and its partners abroad. Prior to joining Emerson, he held positions related to international travel and exchange at Boston University, University of Rhode Island, and NAFSA: Association of International Educators. Corey holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Keene State College and Master of Arts in International Media from American University. As an undergraduate student, he studied abroad in South Africa and has also traveled throughout Asia, Central America, and Europe.
