What is Money Matters?
Money Matters is Emerson College's financial education program. A free service for all Emerson students and alumni, Money Matters aims to help participants become more confident about making informed decisions about their money.
We offer workshops throughout the semester on a variety of topics including credit, budgeting, saving & goals, identity protection, and managing student debt. A full calendar of our events for the semester can be found on EmConnect. We also provide programming for RA's and student organizations. Contact us to learn more!
Financial Counseling Appointments
We provide 1-on-1 appointments with Accredited Financial Counselors who've been trained by the Association for Financial Counseling, Planning, and Education (AFCPE). Whether you're looking for help with your personal budget, making a financial plan for your education, or just curious about a personal finance topic, we're here to help.
During the beginning of the Fall 2021 semester, our financial counseling will be temporarily paused. If you have questions about financial aid, student loans, or scholarships, please contact finaid [at] emerson.edu to schedule an appointment with a financial aid counselor.
If you have general personal finance questions, or would like to schedule an appointment to talk to someone about a financial concern, please contact studentsuccess [at] emerson.edu.
