Career development is a lifelong resource for Emerson College alumni. Whether you are a recent graduate preparing for a job or a seasoned alum looking to energize your career, Emerson College’s Career Development Center is here to support you.

Our main offer for alumni is the continued invitation to utilize 1-on-1 career counseling. Emerson alumni may use up to three (3) appointments per calendar year to connect over in-depth topics and strategic career planning. The Career Development Center also provides a variety of online resources to connect you with opportunities as well as career guidance.

Entry-Level Alumni

Recent graduates entering the workforce are encouraged to connect with the Career Development Center as early as the first few months following their graduation.

Handshake for Jobs & Appointments

Handshake is the official career platform for Emerson College. Alumni can expect to find a variety of entry-level job opportunities submitted by employers who have been approved by the College. In addition to searching for jobs, alumni can also connect with our office via the platform to schedule 1-on-1 appointments with one of our career counselors.

Registering for Handshake

All current students are provided with an Emerson-associated Handshake account. Recent graduates may still have access to this account using their @emerson.edu email address. (Please note that access to your Emerson email will be lost one year after graduation, per Emerson IT’s policy. For information on requesting extended access to your email, visit IT’s Help Desk page).

For graduates unable to access their Emerson email, we encourage you to register for a new account using the following steps:
