Financial Aid

Private Scholarships

Various organizations, private agencies, foundations, community-based organizations, and civic groups award scholarships to help worthy students meet the cost of attending college.

Receiving a Private Scholarship

If you are awarded a private scholarship, you must include all private scholarships in your financial aid package. Emerson will adjust packages accordingly; any unmet need will be filled. Next, Federal Work Study, Perkins and/or No Interest Loans are reduced. The Emerson Grant funds are adjusted. And lastly, we will adjust the Subsidized/Unsubsidized Stafford loans if necessary.

Private Scholarships

Below is a list of private scholarships, gathered for your convenience. Many more opportunities may be found online or through high school guidance offices and libraries. Since these scholarships are not offered through Emerson College, any questions should be directed to the corresponding scholarship association.
