Financial Aid
Applying for Aid
Eligibility
Emerson offers several need-based and merit-based financial aid programs. To be considered for merit-based aid, you should have a distinguished academic record, or demonstrate leadership or outstanding potential either in your school or community. To apply for need-based aid, you must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident and you must follow the application steps below.
View our Eligibility Requirements section for further requirements and information.
How to Apply
To apply for financial assistance at Emerson College, you must submit the required supporting documentation:
- Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form: Must be received and processed by the Federal Processor before the deadline. Our school code is 002146.
- Emerson College Graduate Financial Assistance Application
Other documentation may be required if notified by the Office of Financial Aid.
NOTE: While applicants to the College are not required to provide their Social Security number on their application, please be aware that omitting your Social Security number could delay the processing of your financial aid file. This is because federal financial aid processes use your Social Security number as a record identifier.
Please contact our office if you choose to exclude your Social Security number on your application for admission to the College.
