Private Scholarships
Various organizations, private agencies, foundations, community-based organizations, and civic groups award scholarships to help worthy students meet the cost of attending college. Information regarding these sources can be obtained online, from local high school guidance offices and libraries.
Students must include private scholarships in their financial aid packages; Emerson will adjust packages accordingly. First, any unmet need is filled. Next, Work-Study, Perkins and/or No Interest Loans are reduced if necessary. Last, Emerson Grant funds are adapted. Stafford Loans are not reduced.
Below are some private scholarships that Emerson College has gathered for easier viewing. Since these are not Emerson College scholarships any questions should be directed to the corresponding scholarship association.
