Most students keep themselves busy with the on-campus activities that make Emerson so great. Perusing one of our bulletin boards will give you information on endless talks, plays, screenings, open mic nights, and other activities to attend. But our entertainment doesn't end on campus! Venues in Boston host a wide array of activities and events (many of which offer discounts with your Emerson ID). Boston is one of the best places anywhere to stay entertained.

Being one of the most culturally rich cities in the nation, Emerson, in Boston, is located among many of the city's best theaters, concert venues, and comedy clubs. Loew's Cineplex Boston Common, with stadium seating and a digital projection theater, is just a few doors down the street. The area's museums, galleries and artists' open studios could keep you busy for months. The city sponsors many free events all year long, and street performers abound around the Common and at Boston's historic Faneuil Hall Marketplace.

Sports fans and outdoor enthusiasts won't be disappointed either. Taking in a game at historic Fenway Park, sailing at Community Boating on the Charles, or exploring Boston's Harbor Islands are just a few suggestions. And don't forget about playing on an Emerson team or supporting your friends from the stands!
