Emerson College occupies several buildings at and near the intersection of Boylston and Tremont Streets on the Southeast corner of Boston Common. The Admission Visitor Center is located at 10 Boylston Place*; a pedestrian walkway between 120 and 132 Boylston Street underneath a black iron gate.
*Important Note for GPS or Internet map users: Please do not use 10 Boylston Place as a driving destination, as no street goes past this address. 120 Boylston Street, or any of the local parking facilities mentioned below, are more reliable destination addresses.
Emerson is best reached by Boston's public transportation system, affectionately known as "The T". The campus is located at Boylston Station on the Green Line.
Take the Green Line to Boylston Station. Exit and walk straight down along Tremont St to the intersection of Tremont and Boylston Streets (you are now across from Dunkin Donuts). Cross Boylston, turn right, and walk half a block west to Boylston Place, a pedestrian walkway underneath a black iron gate (between 120 and 132 Boylston Street). The Admission Visitor Center is located down the walkway at the last set of doors on the left.

Emerson does not have parking facilities and street parking is extremely limited. We recommend that you head to one of several nearby parking garages before making the short walk to the Admission Visitor Center. The Boston Common Parking Garage is located at Zero Charles Street and the Motor Mart and Radisson Hotel Parking Garages are located at 201 and 200 Stuart Street.
Follow signs to Boston via Interstate 93. Take Exit 26 (Storrow Drive/Cambridge) and proceed to the Copley/Back Bay exit (on the left). At the end of the exit ramp, turn left at the traffic signal onto Beacon Street then a quick right onto Arlington Street. Follow Arlington Street alongside the Boston Public Garden to the fifth traffic light and turn left onto Stuart Street. †
Take Exit 22 – Prudential/Copley Square. Stay in the right lane for Copley Square (it comes up quickly!) and go straight onto Stuart Street when you come above ground. †
† On Stuart Street you will pass the Motor Mart and Radisson Hotel Parking Garages. If you choose to continue or find these garages full, turn left at the next traffic light onto Charles Street. You will pass the Massachusetts Transportation Building and Boston Common Parking Garages on the right. We recommend you park at one of these facilities and walk to the campus and Admission Visitor Center (see above).
Taxis are usually the easiest way to get around town and are much less expensive than renting a car. From the airport to the Emerson campus, the fare will be about $20 including tip. Around town, taxis run about $5-10 for short trips.
Outside any terminal at Boston's Logan International Airport, board the #22 or #33 Massport Shuttle Bus to the subway (the "T". Take the Blue Line inbound to Government Center Station and transfer to the Green Line heading toward Boylston Station (follow the Green Line directions above).
