Internships and Careers in the Performing Arts
Emerson College students enter their fields of employment with strong skill sets from their project-based academic preparation, as well as the numerous opportunities to participate in co-curricular activities and industry experience through internships and other employment opportunities. Employers value Emerson College students' talents in communicating concepts and ideas, and the Career Services department helps develop those business skills through individual appointments, workshops, industry panels and visits, and other programs to bring the world of Communications and the Arts to the Emerson campus.
The Performing Arts program prepares students to enter both the production and performance aspects of educational and professional theatre. The graduates of this program pursue a variety of careers after graduation including, but not limited to, production, performance, teaching and arts administration. The combination of course work, co-curricular activities and internship opportunities prepare students for the world of work.
