Campus Tours

You can book your campus visit online or by calling us at 617-824-8600. In order to secure your first-choice time, we encourage you to schedule your visit at least two weeks in advance.

Campus Tour Options

Lion's Share: General tour for all majors, but with an emphasis on our programs in Marketing Communications; Journalism; Communication Studies; Political Communication; Communication Disorders; and Writing, Literature and Publishing. Select times also include a general information session hosted by Admission staff.

Center Stage: Campus tour for Performing Arts majors, featuring our performance and production facilities, other stops around our Campus on the Common, as well as a Q&A session covering audition information and student life at Emerson. Select times also include a general information session hosted by Admission staff.

Reel Life: Campus tour for Visual and Media Arts majors, featuring our media production facilities, other stops around our Campus on the Common, and information about student life at Emerson. Select times also include a general information session hosted by Admission staff.

Transfer Student Information Session and Tour: Spend some time with our transfer coordinators and learn the ins and outs of applying as a transfer student. After that, one of our current students will show you around campus. While this event only happens once a month, transfer students are also welcome to attend any of our other campus tour events.

Department-Specific Tours

Communication Disorders: Please contact the Communication Disorders Department at 617-824-8730 to schedule a tour of The Robbins Center. The clinic will schedule tours between 12:00–2:00 pm on Monday and Wednesday and between 2:00–5:00 pm on Tuesday and Thursday.

Class Visits

If you would like to observe a class while you are on campus, please call the Admission Office at 617-824-8600 at least two weeks in advance of your visit to hear about our current offerings.
