"Boston is such a student-centered city! I love the close proximity to so many world class institutions of learning. Emerson, fortunately, is centered right among them all in the middle of the city!"

"Boston is not an overwhelming city. It’s small enough to walk across, but there is so much to do that there is never a dull moment. I like to spend evenings at museums and gallery openings, amazing restaurants, and music venues. There is so much history and culture here; it makes me proud to call myself a Bostonian."

"Forbes rates Boston as the third fittest city in America. Running along the Charles River has become one of my favorite things to do, and runners across the globe dream of qualifying for the Boston Marathon. You don’t have to look hard to find free or inexpensive ways to get fit in this city. There are too many yoga, Zumba, Crossfit, and bootcamp classes or meetups to count!"

“Boston boasts an incredibly active and dynamic theatre community with dozens of very diverse and accessible companies and organizations. I love having so many options of what to see each week! Whenever I read the bio of Emerson students or alumni in a theatre program, I know that they're making their mark.”

"Boston is such an eclectic city where there is literally something for everyone!  You might find me satisfying my inner science nerd at the Boston Museum of Science or eating my way through all of the amazing Italian restaurants in the North End.  Plus, it's easy to take advantage of Boston’s great public transit system, the "T," to get everywhere!”
