Media art professionals are at the forefront of modern culture, helping to shape the way we experience the world.  They are natural story tellers who are interested in experimenting with the medium through which the story is told.

The MFA in Media Art empowers its talented students to develop their creative voice, working with image and sound to entertain, inform, persuade, and challenge.  The program offers a truly integrated approach to an increasingly convergent media environment, helping students to evolve as media artists and develop their work conceptually, aesthetically, and technically.  Students who earn the MFA in Media Art will graduate with professional-level production skills and will have produced a major creative media work that adds significantly to the field.
