General Education World Language Requirement

Two semesters at the elementary level are required.
Courses in American Sign Language also fulfill the language requirement (offered through the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders).

Elementary Language Courses: French and Spanish

Elementary language classes provide you the basic structures you need to communicate in the target language. Classes are interactive, mirroring everyday situations and requiring a variety of skills. Grammar is presented through example with an emphasis on both speaking and writing during class drills, choral work, and intensive small-group discussions.
