Roy Harris, a long-time reporter and editor for The Wall Street Journal, most recently was editorial director of CFOworld.com, a Website that is part of IDG Enterprise. Until 2009 he was senior editor of CFO Magazine and CFO.com, which at that time were part of The Economist Group. He is a past president of the American Society of Business Publication Editors, and remains president of the ASBPE Foundation.

He is the author of Pulitzer's Gold: Behind the Prize for Public Service Journalism (U. Missouri Press Paperback, 2010), and he is a commentator on journalism prizes for Poynter.org and the Washington Post. Early in his career he also worked at the Los Angeles Times, and at the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.
