Meet the Graduate Program Director
Dr. Brenda Wrigley, Ph.D., APR, Intregrated Marketing Communication Graduate Program Director
Dr. Brenda J. Wrigley is an Associate Professor in the Marketing Communication Program at Emerson College. Wrigley joined the Emerson College faculty in 2013. Her research interests include gender and diversity, public relations, corporate communications and social responsibility, and crisis communications.
Dr. Wrigley earned a Bachelor of Broadcast Journalism degree from the University of Missouri/Columbia, a Master’s degree in Public Relations from the Newhouse School at Syracuse University, and a Ph.D. in Mass Communications, also from Newhouse. She has 21 years of professional experience in broadcast journalism, broadcast sales and sales management, and corporate communications management. She has more than 16 years of university teaching experience and holds a Certificate in University Teaching, as well as an APR (Accreditation in Public Relations) from the Public Relations Society of America. She has been widely published in journals, books and reference books about Public Relations.

Classes generally meet from 6:00 to 10:00 pm.
