Global Marketing Communication and Advertising Program
The graduate specialization in Global Marketing Communication and Advertising (GMCA) will prepare you to pursue communication careers in the multinational corporate environment. Throughout the intensive one-year program, students move as a group through a structured sequence of courses emphasizing cross-cultural communication and cultural diversity in world markets, blending theory with hands-on application.
Graduates of this program have chosen career tracks in advertising account management, account planning and development, public relations, marketing, brand management, and e-commerce. They have worked with companies such as Arnold Worldwide, BBDO, Grey Advertising, DaimlerChrysler, Pfizer, Edelman, and Reebok.

As a response to the acute need for leaders who are comfortable working and communicating internationally, the GMCA graduate program stresses a team-based approach to marketing communication. At Emerson, you will share a classroom experience—including case studies and simulations—with students hailing from across the United States and around the world.
