Bruce is currently the North American Sales Manager at QED Technologies where he is responsible for sales strategy, business development and most importantly, closing product sales into commercial and government markets. QED Technologies, a Cabot Microelectronics Company is the global leader in the design and manufacture of polishing and measuring systems for the production of precision optics required for semiconductor wafer fabrication, laser energy systems, cinematography, reconnaissance/surveillance and space imaging.
Bruce specializes in "Effective Entrepreneurial Sales" for the E3 (Emerson Entrepreneurial Experience) program. In addition to his work at Emerson College, Bruce is a guest lecturer at the University of Rochester Entrepreneurship Center on "Effective Technology Sales", helping graduate students bridge the gap between "Great Ideas" and "Business reality".
Prior to joining to QED technologies, Bruce has held progressive senior sales and business development positions for Optima Corporation, Advanced Electron Beams and Cognex Corporation with a focus on technology automation.
He spent his formidable years at for Texas Instruments - Electro Optics Division as an Optical Engineer and Manufacturing Manager, where he developed a strong foundation for both the design and manufacturer of electro-optics imaging systems.
He received his BS in Optical Engineering in 1980, University of Rochester where he also was a DIVIII NCAA intercollegiate football athlete. Bruce also received his MBA in 1986 from Dallas of University Braniff School of Management.
