Students represent at International Conference

On January 21, Emerson alumnus Efe Sevin and graduate student Ada Renedo attended the 2nd International Place Branding Conference in Bogotá, Colombia.
They joined academics from around the world to discuss the idea of "place branding." The topic of their presentation focused on their consulting experience with the city of Rosarito, Mexico.
Faculty experts can comment on the upcoming 2013 Boston mayoral race as well as a range of political stories, including initial coverage and ongoing developments leading up to the Massachusetts gubernatorial race in November 2014.
Dr. Angela N. Hosek and her colleague Dr. Rebecca DiVerniero received the Top Paper Award (out of 155 papers submitted) for their project titled, "Twitter as a Classroom Tool: Exploring the Use, Benefits, and Downfalls from the Perspectives of Instructors and Students," from the Human Communication and Technology Division. Dr. Hosek was also on the Top Panel for the Basic Course Division. Both took place at the National Communication Association Annual Meeting in November.
