Professor's Play Debuts
December 22, 2010
On Nov 17 - 20, 2010, "Kent State: A Requiem" debuted at Columbus State College in Ohio. Written by Professor J. Gregory Payne, the play recalls the Kent State shootings of May 4, 1970, where four college students were killed by the Ohio National Guard while protesting the American invasion of Cambodia.
The play remembers the lives of the students and explores the incidents that led to the shootings.
