Professor is Guest on WBZ TV

Professor Greg Payne was a guest on WBZ-TV with Jon Keller on Wednesday, November 17, speaking on the public concerns with airport screening devices and procedures within the global context of terrorism.
The role of guest speaker is nothing new to Prof. Payne, who provided commentary on the MA gubernatorial debate for Channel 5 in Boston as well as for WBZ radio. He also provided commentary on negative advertising in political campaigns for Channel 5 Boston and KNXradio–Los Angeles.

Dr. Angela N. Hosek and her colleague Dr. Rebecca DiVerniero received the Top Paper Award (out of 155 papers submitted) for their project titled, "Twitter as a Classroom Tool: Exploring the Use, Benefits, and Downfalls from the Perspectives of Instructors and Students," from the Human Communication and Technology Division. Dr. Hosek was also on the Top Panel for the Basic Course Division. Both took place at the National Communication Association Annual Meeting in November.
