Faculty member to receive recognition at upcoming NCA convention

Angela M. Hosek and colleagues will receive Top Three Paper recognition at the upcoming annual convention of the National Communication Studies Association in San Francisco, CA for their research entitled: Instructional Communication Predictors and Correlates of Ninth-Grade Students' Cognitive Learning in Math.
Faculty experts can comment on the upcoming 2013 Boston mayoral race as well as a range of political stories, including initial coverage and ongoing developments leading up to the Massachusetts gubernatorial race in November 2014.
Dr. Angela N. Hosek and her colleague Dr. Rebecca DiVerniero received the Top Paper Award (out of 155 papers submitted) for their project titled, "Twitter as a Classroom Tool: Exploring the Use, Benefits, and Downfalls from the Perspectives of Instructors and Students," from the Human Communication and Technology Division. Dr. Hosek was also on the Top Panel for the Basic Course Division. Both took place at the National Communication Association Annual Meeting in November.
