CSD professor honored with distinguished award

Communication Sciences and Disorders Professor Emeritus, David Luterman, has been named the 2011 recipient of the Frank R. Kleffner Lifetime Clinical Career Award. An annual award of the ASHA Foundation, "this award honors an individual's exemplary contributions to clinical science and practice over a period of no less than 20 years".
David continues to remain active within the CSD Department, regularly teaching seminars on the topic of counseling.

Grossman studies facial expression to aid people with autism
In her research, Communication Sciences and Disorders Assistant Professor Ruth Grossman wants to address some of the communication problems that children with autism face as they interact with others at home and school.
