Jennifer Farrell

Jen holds a BA from Tufts University in Drama and Dance. Currently, Jen is a graduate fellow at Emerson, working toward a Master's degree in Theatre Education. Jen has studied dance extensively in Boston, Chicago and New York, specializing in contemporary and classical jazz styles. Jen has taught and continues to teach at many New England colleges and studios including The Boston Conservatory, Suffolk University, College of The Holy Cross, Northern Essex Community College, Jeannette Neill Dance Studio, Third Life Studio and presently at Urbanity Dance Studio. She served as resident choreographer and artistic director for the Suffolk University Dance Company. Her choreography projects include New Balance Athletic Shoes World Trade Show, Fleet Celebrity Series/Ailey Camp as well as numerous college and university dance concerts. Her musical theatre choreography includes Two Gentlemen of Verona, Anything Goes, Hair-The American Tribal Love-Rock Musical, Into the Woods, Parade, A Company of Angels and Peggy-Ann. As a performer, she danced and opened for headlining entertainers including Gregory Hines, Harry Connick Jr., Rita Moreno, The Pointer Sisters and the B-52's. She performed nationally and internationally for Champion, PUMA, FILA , Keds and other sportswear companies. Jen sponsors 3LPlace, a housing facility for adults with developmental disabilities, with her advanced level jazz workshop JazzDanceBrunch.
