Andrea Martucci

Andrea Martucci has worked in publishing since 2004 in almost every capacity from editorial to management and marketing. Named to Folio: Magazine's 15-under-30 List in 2013, Andrea has been recognized for her innovative and entrepreneurial strategies.

Currently the VP of Marketing at AdSpace Communications, she works with magazine publishers like The Economist and Publisher's Weekly to craft direct response marketing that increases revenues and subscriptions.

Prior to AdSpace, she was the Managing Editor of Ploughshares, the prestigious professional literary magazine at Emerson College. Over the course of 4 years, she more than doubled subscriptions and increased revenue by 315%.

Other experience includes working at a local weekly newspaper and a local bi-monthly magazine, as a freelance editor for a true crime book project, and as the co-founder and editor-in-chief of em magazine, Emerson College's first lifestyle magazine.

Andrea is proud to have been a student, staff member, and now professor at Emerson. She developed the course Magazine Marketing for publishing students, and teaches it at the graduate and undergraduate levels.
