Fourth Annual Silversonic Music Video Showcase

SilversonicSilversonic is an annual showcase of music videos made by current Emerson students and alumni. It is a celebration of the combination of music and image as a unique art form worthy of exhibition in a cinema environment.

There will be a reception following the screening with an opportunity for talk back with musicians and filmmakers.

Submission Requirements

  • Be sure to read the Median Upload Guide to properly compress and upload your video into Median.
  • Projects can be uploaded into Median, Vimeo or YouTube (if password protected please provide password).
  • Works-in-progress will be considered, provided they will be completed prior to the festival.
  • Works must be under 10 minutes and have been completed while a student at Emerson College or after graduation (produced within the last two years).
  • There is no limit on the number of submissions you can make. Just resubmit the form for each production.


  • Entries must be received no later than Friday, September 25, 2015.


  1. Selection for the festival will be made by the Festival Committee comprised of Emerson faculty, administrators, and alumni.
  2. Selection to festival will allow Emerson College to broadcast work on Emerson College cable station and at alumni events, as well as to reproduce on DVD for promotional/non-commercial purposes. A selection will also need to be made available for posting on the official college Youtube site and the VMA student gallery for promotional/non-commercial purposes.
  3. If selected, the Boston screening will take place Thursday, November 19, 2015
