This program, offered free of charge, is open to all new first time students and provides an opportunity for self-identified students of color to build community with each other. Our program is particularly relevant for students from traditionally underrepresented groups/backgrounds.

Who is BIPOC Pre-Orientation for?
BIPOC stands for Black, Indigenous, and People of Color. It's an inclusive term that represents a diverse group of individuals who have historically been marginalized based on their race or ethnicity.
So, who falls under this category? Well, if your heritage includes any of these backgrounds, you're apart of the BIPOC community! This includes identities like African, Afro-Latine, Asian, Hispanic, Indigenous, Latino/a/e, Middle Eastern, Pacific Islander, and so many more.
What happens at Pre-Orientation?
You will:
- Engage with new and returning students students of color
- Attend informational and social sessions with staff, faculty and students of color
- Learn about resources available to you on campus
