Rashidat Agboola

Rashidat completed her Masters degree in Social Work at Boston University and is a Licensed Certified Social Worker (LCSW). She is returning to Emerson after serving as a trainee for her clinical placement this past academic year. She has also completed a clinical placement at Lighthouse Behavioral Health & Wellness Center where she worked with a diverse population of teens and adults. Her clinical interests include multicultural issues, identity, life transitions, trauma and spirituality. Her therapeutic approach is focused on how external factors and systems impact an individual's identity and self-concept. Her therapeutic approach is strengths-focused and grounded in self-empowerment theories. In her free time she enjoys reading, basketball, traveling and spending time with friends and family.
