Jeff leads the corporate citizenship and public affairs teams at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts (BCBSMA), helping to enhance the company's reputation through strategic community investments, focused volunteerism, environmental sustainability activities and effective outreach to community organizations, civic, business and elected officials. He is responsible for strategically linking corporate social responsibility, public affairs activities and community investments to the overall business strategy of the company, highlighting BCBSMA's commitment to corporate citizenship and grassroots initiatives in Massachusetts and helping to enhance the overall brand and reputation of the organization.
Jeff has a diverse professional background that includes for-profit and not-for-profit experience. He worked as managing director at Resources Global Professionals (a multinational professional services consulting firm), vice president of marketing and public relations for United Way of Massachusetts Bay & Merrimack Valley and led the Americas' marketing and public relations efforts for Omgeo LLC – a global joint venture between the Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC) and Thomson Reuters.
Jeff began his career in television news, working at WTTG-TV and WUSA-TV in Washington, DC.
Jeff co-chairs the Massachusetts General Hospital for Children's Advisory Board and serves on the Board of Directors for the Boston Municipal Research Bureau, the Board of Trustees for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston, as well as the Advisory Boards for Camp Harbor View, BOKS (Building Our Kids Success) and The Trustees of Reservations. Jeff resides in Hingham, Massachusetts with his wife and two children.
