Dr. Jack Casey is a veteran radio programmer, manager, and on-air personality. Since 2004 he has been general manager of Emerson College's award winning radio station, WERS 88.9 FM. Earlier in his career, Casey guided Boston's WMJX "Magic" 106.7 as director of programming and news during its first five years as a market leader. He hosted "Romance and the Music" nightly on EZ99.1 and held the position of morning personality at WMOD-FM in Washington, D.C. He has held additional management and on-air positions at leading radio stations in Kansas City, Calgary, Richmond, VA, Worcester, MA and Manchester, NH. Dr. Casey teaches several courses in the radio minor curriculum and also serves as faculty advisor to WECB where his career began as an undergraduate announcer and music host.
