A career journalist, Christine Casatelli is editorial project director for GBH in Boston, one of the nation’s largest public media stations.

Working as a reporter and editor, she has covered business, technology, government and sports in Boston, Washington, D.C., and Japan. Her articles have appeared in The New York Times, Boston Herald, International Herald Tribune, Atlanta Journal-Constitution and on GBH.org and in the Associated Press. She has also been a featured speaker at the New England Press Association Annual Conference and at the Journalism Education Association National Convention.

At Emerson College, Casatelli teaches Graduate Journalism Capstone, where graduate students are required to publish their own online articles, video and audio reports as part of their final capstone projects. She has also taught Foundations of Journalism, Beat Reporting and Multimedia Journalism. 

A graduate of Syracuse University and Harvard University, Casatelli is completing her Ph.D. in education at University of Massachusetts Lowell.
