Our students and faculty perform professional work, and we want to help them become masters at their craft. The Equipment Distribution Center (EDC) loans professional equipment to students and faculty to fulfill class assignments. The EDC manages all Visual & Media Arts and Journalism equipment, with professional staff and student employees available to provide operational and technical support.

A select offering of courses permits students to create their own equipment reservations online via our self-service “PatronPortal” system.
Policies and Forms
All students utilizing EDC equipment and facilities must abide by all Emerson College, MTP, and VMA/Journalism policies. Additionally, all patrons are required to provide permits and safety forms during checkout.
