The programs of the Office of Internationalization and Equity (IE) are continuously evolving. IE programs are strategically designed to be interdisciplinary in nature to support Emerson’s global learning objectives, which aim to enable students to gain foreign language proficiency, global competence, leadership skills and comparative and critical thinking.

IE initiatives are designed to help the College develop and sustain comprehensive internationalization programs that increase global engagement for Emerson students, faculty and staff.

ACE Internationalization Laboratory

Emerson is a past participant in the ACE Internationalization Laboratory, having broadened and deepened its internationalization goals as a result. Emerson continues to remain active with the ACE Lab.

The Strategic Plan for Internationalization is Emerson’s global roadmap. It establishes Emerson’s international vision and outlines the goals and objectives needed to ensure its success.

International Exchanges & Partnerships

The number of Emerson's international exchanges and partnerships is growing. These types of international affiliations are developed abroad to enable a broad base of faculty participation in discussions about internationalization, and other academic and co-curricular initiatives.
