Beyond the Buzz

Beyond the Buzz is a nonjudgmental one-hour educational session designed to provide students with necessary facts and resources so that they can make informed and responsible decisions regarding cannabis and alcohol (open to ALL interested students). The course is based on a peer-to-peer model and is co-facilitated by two Emerson College student facilitators.

The goal of the program is to assist students in understanding the risks associated with alcohol and cannabis use and the impacts alcohol and cannabis can have on their college experience, and to allow students to consider various strategies for making safer choices.

The program is presented in a non-confrontational manner that enables students to draw their own conclusions.
