Overview

The demands surrounding faculty development are as follows:

Demand 1

Administration provides incentives for faculty including, but not limited to, stipend, department budget increase, to participants.

Specific Actions

Continue existing incentives. Propose a second-level of training to be discussed and affirmed at Faculty Assembly.

Demand 2

Materials from faculty bias training be available to students.

Specific Actions

Tuesda Roberts will discuss learning goals and areas covered for the three levels of training with students. Learning goals of the three training sessions can be posted on the website.

Demand 3

Faculty Assembly approve a second-level cultural competency training run by Tuesda Roberts.

One Faculty Assembly meeting per semester be dedicated to bias training.
