If you struggle answering the question "what do you do?" you're not alone. What if talking about what you do (or want to do) felt easier, authentic and less market-y, and less stressful? In this interactive virtual workshop, you'll learn how to shift your perspective and see your work in a fresh way, as a story instead of a resume, so you can find ease in sharing it - and keep the right conversations moving forward.
We'll be speaking with Casting Directors who work in scripted/narrative as well as commercials and music videos. Topics will include the Casting Director's role in a project and their relationship with Directors, Producers, Actors, Agencies/Clients. We'll be covering the career path to becoming a casting director, as well as the path for an actor to be cast in a role.
This virtual, engaging conversation will be led by Ian Rifkin, Senior Director, Recruiting & Early Careers (at Endeavor), and he'll be joined by Molly Kemper, Manager, Early Careers Recruiting, as well as Emerson alum, Elias Scangas, Coordinator, Talent. This will not be your typical HR spiel. Come learn about Endeavor's plans for future internship and trainee opportunities. Attendees will receive a link to upload resumes for job opportunities of their interest.
