Topics will include the Casting Director's role in a project and their relationship with Directors, Producers, Actors, Agencies/Clients. We'll be covering the career path to becoming a casting director, as well as the path for an actor to be cast in a role.

This virtual, engaging conversation will be led by Ian Rifkin, Senior Director, Recruiting & Early Careers (at Endeavor), and he'll be joined by Molly Kemper, Manager, Early Careers Recruiting, as well as Emerson alum, Elias Scangas, Coordinator, Talent. This will not be your typical HR spiel. Come learn about Endeavor's plans for future internship and trainee opportunities. Gain a detailed understanding of the roles and responsibilities of an entertainment industry assistant in this virtual workshop and panel discussion led by Amanda Maltz ‘10, learning and development manager at companies including Apple, WarnerMedia, and Lionsgate. Alumni industry assistant panelists will discuss and answer questions about their career trajectories since graduation, how they landed their positions, what the jobs entail, and the skills needed to be successful.
