Distinguished Alumni Award
This award is the highest honor bestowed upon an alumnus/a by the Emerson College Alumni Association. The Distinguished Alumni Award recognizes an individual’s significant achievements and contributions to his/her profession and/or community. Established in 1978, this honor acknowledges an individual’s service to society and personal commitment to the mission of Emerson College.
The Distinguished Alumni Award is designated annually at the discretion of the Alumni Association Board of Directors.
Young Alumni Achievement Award
This honor is bestowed upon an alumnus/a who has graduated within the past 10 years and has made significant achievements and contributions to his/her profession and/or community. The achievements of the individual should be inspirational to Emerson students and serve as a source of pride for both the College and the awardee.
The Young Alumni Achievement Award is designated annually at the discretion of the Alumni Association Board of Directors.
Nomination Process & Review
Nominations for the Distinguished Alumni Awards and Young Alumni Achievement Awards are open to the public. Alumni, students, faculty, staff, and friends of the College are welcome to submit nominations. The names of nominators will not be published.
The deadline for submitting nominations for the 2020 Emerson College Alumni Awards is September 30. The Office of Alumni Relations and the Emerson College Alumni Association Board of Directors will review all nominations in October and will notify award recipients in November. The awards will be presented during Alumni Weekend, which will take place June 5-7, 2020
