Emerson students have diverse options when it comes to course selection, and our advisors ensure that each student can make the informed decisions necessary for a fulfilling academic experience. They work with students to help them utilize the wide array of academic and professional resources our community provides.
As a member of the highly competitive New England Women’s and Men’s Athletic Conference (NEWMAC), Emerson's student-athletes compete in 14 NCAA Division III Intercollegiate programs including basketball, baseball, cross-country, lacrosse, soccer, softball, tennis, and volleyball. In addition to our Division III sports, every student has access to high-quality facilities, supportive fitness staff, and a variety of physical activities. Our fitness center has state-of-the-art equipment and machines, and our gym hosts open hours for shooting hoops or playing games.
At Emerson, we believe good health is essential for academic achievement. Our Center for Health and Wellness (CHW) supports students and enhances the learning environment through a range of services and programs. Their staff includes nurse practitioners, a physician assistant, a clinical dietitian, and a health and wellness educator. A supervising physician is also available on call when medically necessary. Their team is well suited to support the health of our dynamic academic community.
